By accessing or using The Pie Lab, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

The Pie Lab is a pizza-making companion app that provides dough recipe calculations, bake scheduling, a baking journal, and educational content about pizza styles, flours, and techniques. The app is available as a web application and may be available as a mobile app.

Free & Pro Tiers

The Pie Lab offers a free tier with core features and a Pro tier with additional tools. New users receive a 14-day full-access trial of all Pro features starting after their first bake. After the trial, Pro features require a one-time in-app purchase to unlock permanently.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data, which is stored locally on your device.
• You agree not to misuse the service or attempt to access it through unauthorized means.

Recipes & Guidance

All recipes, calculations, schedules, and baking guidance provided by The Pie Lab are for informational purposes only. Results may vary based on your ingredients, equipment, environment, and technique. The Pie Lab does not guarantee specific outcomes.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of The Pie Lab are the property of The Pie Lab and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

The Pie Lab is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, equipment damage, or unsatisfactory baking results.

Termination

You may stop using The Pie Lab at any time. You can delete all your data using the Delete All My Data option in My Kitchen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for violations of these terms.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use The Pie Lab. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which The Pie Lab is operated.

Modifications

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
